I know I previously posted that Ghiradelli hot chocolate mix wasn’t worth any extra expense from any other hot chocolate mix, but that was before I tried the brownie recipe from the back of the can! These brownies are ultra rich and chocolaty with a velvety texture and not too sweet.
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup Ghiradelli sweet ground chocolate and cocoa (probably any other brand will work here, not sure but it’s worth a try)
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup nuts (I didn’t add any this time, sorta optional)
1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips (optional, I left theses out too and thought the brownies were perfect without)
Mix dry ingredients. Cream sugar with melted butter. Stir dry ingredients into sugar/butter, pout into greased square baking dish. Bake 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
I served these with fresh raspberries and light whipped cream.
