World Without End Miniseries

I’ve both read and watched Ken Follet’s Pillars of the Earth and the miniseries that was made from it. I loved both. The sequel, World Without End is definitely on my reading list, and there is also a miniseries to be made from it! It seems production will begin this July. I can’t wait! Here is the link to the miniseries website: http://www.world-without-end.tv/news. There are some pictures and such there to enjoy.

The Dark Tower Series

I was disappointed a couple of months ago to here that Universal had passed on a movie and TV adaption of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series, but it appears Ron Howard is still on board to direct, although $45 million has been shaved off the budget. Anyway, here’s the link to the article I read this morning: http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Brian-Grazer-Says-Dark-Tower-Adaptation-Get-Made-27484.html

Tess of the D’urbervilles Episode 2

Tess of the D’urbervilles Miniseries

Tess of the D’urbervilles is one of my favorite novels, and definetely my favorite Thomas Hardy novel. The BBC 2008 miniseries starring Gemma Aterton is really great and has been uploaded in full to Youtube!
